someone had started a real cool conversation some time ago- it was about who should act as BG characters in a movie. that topic was too damn cool to stop, so keep it goin´...
they all suggested john malkovich as edwin, but my favourite would be kiefer sutherland. but michelle pfeiffer for the role of jaheira was a pretty great idea, as was wesley snipes for valygar´s part. |

Yeah. I remember the thread - Arnie for Minsc, Brendan Fraser (the Mummy) for Irenicus
. How about Keanu Reeves for the main character - after all, he played John Harker in Dracula and there are a lot of vampires in this game |

On the first thread some one suggested sombody for Inriencus,and antoerh person said that guy did his voice,and i cant for the life of me rembmer who it was,,any help? |

David Warner did Irenicus' voice. David Warner... old, somewhat craggy-featured guy. Cool chap. As someone replied to me, however, he is a bit too old to play Irenicus properly, as Jon has an obviously powerful physique and a strange, young face.

nah. keanu reeves would work quite well with the history of the main char (Bhaalspawn), but i think he isn´t heroic enough. and schwarzenegger may have enough muscle to play minsc, but he´s just too old. ralf moller(that big guy from gladiator) would suit far better. what about (i know it´s odd) kate moss as my most lovely aerie ? yeah...great...she reminds me so much of aerie, altough she´s no real actress.

Bruce Willis could do Keldorn. I'm not suggesting Jeremy Irons for qnyone because of the super-ham c**p job he did as the villain in D&D the movie - he should be boiled alive for that performance

I think David Warner would still be good for Irenicus...Any one remember him in Time bandits? he played a sorcerer in that...If you don't know who he is he was the guy in Titanic who handcuffed Leonardo to the pipe, then I think he runs around with a gun..With a bit of make, up (Which Irenicus would have anyway) he would do nicely... Bruce Willis for Keldorn would be near perfect (or harrison ford)...and I must say if the PC was any fighter class Russel Crowe would do the job..Then there is Yoshimo and lets be fair if there was gonna be a film this character would have to be in it, if not for his romantic style betrayel, then for his accent...Can't think of anyone who looks like him...
Drizzt would be a must have too...I could go on all day! The soundtrack would have to rock..Doesn't everyone love the brynlaw and Nalia's keep backround music! Anyway heres a small list: Anomen:: Andy Garcia Valygar: Wesley Snipes OR Martin Lawrence (chuckle) Korgan: Rod Steiger? Nalia: Drew Barrymore (SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE HER LOOK!) Edwin: Gary Oldman Irenicus: David Warner OR Gary Oldman (ooo he will be busy) Keldorn: Bruce Willis OR Harrison Ford OR Kevin Kostner Yoshimo: who could play the gangster of the party? The guy from Lethal weapon 4 mebe? not Joe Peschi  Minsc: Like yoshimo prolly the hardest one to cast of the bunch....I must say I dont like the idea of Arny, the german dude of Gladiator would be better, not sure though, need some one ith a rounder face, and A smile that makes you wont to hug him! Maybe Deniro? HaerDalis: Leonardo Di'Caprio: 2 Similarities, they both have a soft commer in there names and they are both looked on as complete twats by members of the same sex! Viconia: Goldie Horn Mazzy: Whoopie Goldberg (she has to be in it as somebody!) Cernd: The guy who played snake pliskin maybe? Jan: I suppose he couldbe played by David Suche (poirot) but only so he gets in somewhere... Aerie: That girl from 10things I hate about you... Imoen:god my brain needs to rest Jaheira: Some1 with big EYES (look at the picture they grew a lot since BG1!!! Thats all from me hope you looked at my list and said hmmmmm,,,ah..no....hmmmmmmmmmm   |

Hmmmm, I think Donald Sutherland would make a good Elminster and Dustan Hoffmann would make a good Jan, but then that's just me!
