Also I have seen maze fail due to magic resistance but im not sure about imprisonment.

3 things protect against imprisonment:
1. Being berserk or enraged. 2. Spell Immunity - Abjuration. 3. Magic resistance (eg. Protection from Magic scrolls give you 100% magic resistance). ------------------

Yes, but Minsc's bezerk does NOT! We were playing hide and seek with beholders once. Minsc saw an elder orb and I thought "Hmmm, I have already cast prot from petrification on Minsc so the only thing I have left to really fear is imprisonment". So I enraged Minsc and attacked! MINSC IS BEZERK! HE LUSTS FOR THE BLOOD OF HIS ENEMIES (and any other poor "§$%& that gets in the way)! HE IS IMMUME TO MIND CONTROL! HE IS IMMUNE TO IMPR...
