Without ToB, level 9

With ToB, level 13

Standard cheesy weapon to grandmaster, katanas and maximise dual-wield.

Personal preference, quarterstaffs.

i'd go for quarterstaffs as well... staff of the magi is just too good not to use it (especially in combination with cloak of non-detection). additionally, a point in daggers or axes is also helpful (as ranged weapons)

if you´re going for dual wield i´d also put a point in scimitars... celestial fury + belm is better than celestial fury + dakkons zerth blade imo.

Hmm, I just started playing with Kensai, and will dual class him to a mage on lvl 14 or more. As my primary weapon i chose two-handed sword(mostly because of carsomyr+5).

Even now i deal a LOT of damage, i am able to kill(with kai ability) almost every foe with few hits and i just can't wait to see how strong will my character be in the end.

I just wanna know how do i drasticly lower my AC, and when i dual, should i be able to wear mage robes, oh and is my proficency in two handed sword a good idea?

thanks

Carsomyr is usable only by Paladins, and level 20+ thieves with the use any item ability, I would go with either staff, or Katana, as stated above

Maximise your ability to dual wield and instead of some hard to find katanas, use easy to get and very powerful long swords.
My kensai mage is UNBEATABLE! As I said before...I can cast Time Stops...again and again...Jon Irenicus was at "near death" in hell before his pit spawns even touched me.
I am around level 42.
I started becoming a mage at level 12.
