Hi there!
I´m new to this board and I´m from Sweden so please be gentle with my spelling ok? Two subjects I hate: How does one fight thoose damned Golems best? I usually end up with having one person doing no damge and nother character with the same weapon getting "Golem imune to damage".. Any suggestions? 2. The Edwin quest in killing the Cowled wizards, I´m playing a Paladin as lead character and don´t want to be an assasin, are there any way around it? Last time I eneded up killing thieves and wizards all about the place.. He desrved it alright but are there anyway around it? |

Welcome Wolfgir!
Golems require different methods to dispatch them depending upon type: Clay Golems - Must have a +1 or better BLUNT weapon to hit. No other type of weapon does any damage. Stone Golems - Must have a +2 weapon or better to hit. Any type will do. Iron Golems - Must have +3 weapon or better to hit. Any type will do. They tend to Breath cloudkill on you so watch out! Adamantine Golems - Let's just not go there! All golems seem to have the ability to haste and all are highly resistant to magic. Re Edwin's Quest: No way around the conflict if you are persuing the Maevar Quest. Don't worry though. There is no alignment hit for killing that particular Cowled Wizard. Use your ability to Detect Evil and you'll find him fair game! I rather enjoyed it considering what they did to Imoen. (I am an Undead Hunter. *Grins*) Hope this helps. |
