I want to free Viconia and have her join my group (which might not work out; we're all more or less neutral/chaotic/good). I do away with the two zealots and a few townsfolk (the rest run off). I click on Viconia, but she just keeps whining for me to free her. How do I free her? I already have all six PC slots filled, should I dump one first?

You have to put your cursor over the pile of wood at her feet. You will get the standard "arrows in a circle" curor. Click on this and she will be freed. You dont have to free up party space first. Cheers.

Darn me (or BG2) When rescuing Viconia, I charmed one of the archers in the battle that follows. Viconia attacked the archer, which attacked Viconia back. Now she's mad at me, and won't talk to me. She can't join my pary anymore. Darn, just as I could get Jaheira out of my face....
