rapax castel

I hate this place because the rapax are swarming me and i mean swarming! every 5 meter or so 15-30 rapax are attacking and i have no chance of complete the quests in the castel because after these fights i need much time too recover!
i there any way to change factions so the rapax inside the castel dont attack me (i mean only the normal rapax not the npcs like ferro)??
(i am playing on easy)

Without giving too much away: If you become a templar you become friendly with the Rapax.

That is the Problem! i dont can complete the quest to become a templer because they are attacking me so much

Hi herzbub,

rapax have (relative) low resistance to water magic, i suggest you try to paralyze them (you need a wizardry caster or a bard) and after that, use close combat weapons for double damage! of course, magic screen is very helpfull, too... i think insanity is quite usefull too, or any similar psionic spell.

Once you get upstairs (or up ramp) and talk to the Templars there, you should have little trouble with the ordinary Rapax. Completing the Templar initiation takes place up there away from them.

The only thing to be careful of is a patrol coming through the room below after you finish and report back to Al-Adryian. But if you just keep a careful eye on your radar screen, you can avoid them easily with some patience.

Welcome Herzbub, to our little corner of thoughtful insanity. That battle, to get to Ferro on the right or to be a Templar on the left is one of the hardest battles. The longer you stay there, the more enemies you will see. Until you kill 50 or more. I hope you found a corner to defend from. What level are you at? What kind of party? I used to go to Ferro first but that was always tough, now always to the Templar area.

Yes i have talked to ferro and stockt up! The fights a no real problem i alwasy find a way to make sure that only 1-3 rapax can attack me at one time but after that huge battels i used up 80% of my magic and my fighters need some healing!
And another problem is that ferro joins the fight to help me but dies very offten! I have to heal him to after every battel so he does not die because i want first my ivory blade that he is making for me!
ii think i will try to reload an older save game and try to get as fast as possibel to the templer quest npc (forgot his name).
Or use the editor to envade the rapax!

My Party
Level 17 Dwarf warri
level 16 Draco Lord
Level 16 Human Valk.
Level 17 Hobbit Rogue
Level 16 Mook Hunter
Level 17 Farie Psi
And Rsf-81 (i forgott his level butz he is around 15)

It's much better to become a Templar first. If Ferro dies, he never comes back, so you won't be able to buy any of his good stuff or have custom items made.

Just head left after entering the castle (with due care) and get up to see Al-Adryian as fast as possible.
