In the SE Wilderness there is a pool with a statue of what looks like a flying snake. Pool is in the south, in an indentation in the terrain.

Is there anything special about this pool or is it just there for show?

Pure eye candy, pretty but just part of the landscape ... leastwise *I* never found a use for it

It does have a use

Its there to totally annoy you that there's something interesting in the middle of nowhere that does nothing when you feel it should.

Well...having survived the bad breath of the swallowers you really need a bath, so maybe.....
