Trying to finish some quests before I go for the hard stuff...I never could complete Umpani Special training mission for underwater. I totally explored the water, sea caves, etc. I can't find Sgt. Rubble, either. He normally shows up after a mission, guess I am missing it. It is an item or do I have to search for the guy? Already tried the General.

Strange. Rubble should be there at the water's edge when you arrive at the UTU. Are you saying he wasn't there?

Also, the UTU stuff is the way to rescue Sgt. Glumph. You have to bring him back to Yamir to complete the quest. Check your journal and see what it says about this matter.

I think what Ziggurat means is that Rubble is nowhere to be found AFTER one has gone through the sea caves, shallows, etc. I have the same problem... the quest for UTU training is still highlighted but I do not know who to talk to to complete the quest, I presume it is Rubble. I've already rescued Glumph and talked to Yamir, so that particular quest is done. It's the UTU training that's bugging me and I cannot find Rubble too.

Okay, let me ask this: after you met Rubble the first time at UTU, did you then suit up everyone in the party and go back and talk to Rubble before entering the water? I think that's what turns off this particular quest entry.

Nightowl2: no, I suited up and went straight for the water. Didn't realize getting the waterlungs was a quest!!! They were right next to him in the hut. Guess I can scratch this one off my list. Thanks for the info! Seems a bit weird, tho....

Ziggurat, that's what I did too. That's weird alright, what was that supposed to be, a test to see if you knew where flippers were supposed to be worn?

Nightowl, do you remember if Rubble gave out experience points for that? Thanks.
