Need Help in Trynton

I just finished the Seventh Bough and talked with the Shaman there.

Logbook says I should go to Marten's Bluff etc...

I am by the broken bridge and according to some
some Walkthrough (www.volberding.com/Wizardry8/Wiz8Main.htm), I have to merge two vines together and use it to fix the bridge.. question is: "What Vines? where do I get it?"

When I asked Madras where the Destinae Dominus is, he said Crock by the swamp..

Now, where do I proceed from here? Get the Destinae Dominus? or proceed onto fixing this bridge?

I havent killed/finished the Kill the Fat Rat quest for Madras.

About the vines - When you first entered the Upper Branches you had to fight some Sprites in a long building (near Fuzzfas' Potion shop), go back there and check the pillars, there are two vines that you can merge into a rope.

Crock - He doesn't have the Destinae Dominus but he does give you some information about it (for a price).

You won't be getting your hands on the artifact any time soon, so my suggestion would be to finish as much as you can in Trynton before moving on. Plus, you can recruit Madras if you finish the Rat quest.

The vines are in the Sanctuary Hut (that's the hut near the magic fountain). It is the guarded by 5 tree sprites. The vines are at the back of the altar on either side of the lizard's head.

The time between my post and your replies, I digged the forum further on Trynton and it seems that many are looking for the "Spider Silk".

Quess what? While figuring out the broken bridge thing searching around trynton, I go 4 "Spider Silks"...

wonder what these silk are for and why its hot.

since i am one of the girls who can't get the darned thing, i will be glad to help you.

if you met antone, the armorer in arnika, and talked to him, he would have told you that he can make you custom peices. by talking to him further, he will tell you all the things you can get from him, but in return he requires certain ingredients for each peice.

all of this gets entered into your journal so that as you journey around you collect stuff and check in your log to see what else you need.

silk is part of the stuff needed to make special armor for the "little ones", or faeries. [img]smile.gif[/img]
