No you don't have to kill the don, you can buy the astral dominus from him (but it's expensive
 ). Where next, I assume this is your first time in Trynton, ie that you've just started, I would go either to the swamp and from there Marten's Bluff to see the T'rang (south from Trynton), or to the northern wilderness and from there to the umpani (north from arnika road). That will get you some quests and direction [img]smile.gif[/img]
