Sorry to ask, Guess I'm stupid but I can't figure out how to make potions with my Alchemist?

Do you mean automatically, or by mixing other potions?
If automatically, it has a chance of happening every time you rest (I believe). For mixing, you need to use the "combine" button. O.R. |

I've tried to combine but all it says is that those objects can't be combined.
What type of potions should I try to combine? |
