Sorry to ask, Guess I'm stupid but I can't figure out how to make potions with my Alchemist?

Do you mean automatically, or by mixing other potions?

If automatically, it has a chance of happening every time you rest (I believe). For mixing, you need to use the "combine" button.

I've tried to combine but all it says is that those objects can't be combined.
What type of potions should I try to combine?
