In the East road, where the troll quest/archaelogist quest is, I am having an issue. In my other game, I was able to talk to Lentan (the guy who attacks the dummy, gives the quest to kill the troll)
In this game, he won't respond. He just keeps attacking over and over, and it says he is too busy to respond. I tried waiting for him to kill the thing, even flamestriked the area, but nothing. So I tried killing the chieftan and see if he said anything. Nothing. I have the head, but he still is too busy. Any ideas? [ 10-10-2004, 06:27 PM: Message edited by: SecretMaster ] |

I knew what this post would be about from reading the subject line. TONS of people have this problem. Just keep clicking. If it doesn't work, mourn the loss of 300 gp and move on.

Apparently the 1.64 patch fixes this. So patch and try again.

There's a guy in the archeologists camp that ask you to find his mother. Is that the quest you're refering to?
The dead body and the journal belongs to a henchman quest. Edit: Doesn't charming Lentan make him turn hostile after the spell expires? [ 10-11-2004, 04:15 AM: Message edited by: Stratos ]
