I can´t make up my mind about who to take:
Imoen or Coran
coran is so much cooler (exept for the portrait, can I change it somehow?) but imoen is your childhood friend...
i think ill just go with coran with the excuse that imoen was tired of adventuring and wanted to stay at the fai for a while

The portraits in Baldur's Gate display the most grotesk lunatics. Coran (who is IMHO the coolest NPC in Baldur's Gate) gets the most stupid looking portrait ever designed. No wonder not that many people take him. He looks like a rabid cow!

Imoen or Coran?

I see them as very different characters.

Imoen is the mage/thief that stays in the shadows scouting and looking for traps. When the battle begins, she starts casting spells at the opponents from the distance.

Coran is the fighter/thief that also stays in the shadows scouting and looking for traps, BUT when an enemy is discovered he places himself so he can shoot some arrows at the enemy and then wait until the rest of the party is close enough. Then he starts firing arrows. I use him to shoot arrows at the enemy from middle distance, ie. he is standing between the tanks and the mages and the other range attackers. If some of the enemies break free from the tanks and think they will attack some of the mages, they have to pass Coran first. He will quickly change his weapon to a two-handed sword and knock down the 'wannabe mage killers'. Its like protecting the quarter back(s).

BTW: In most of my parties I have BOTH Imoen and Coran. Imoen is dual classed to a mage.

I cna texactly remember but just check what its in right now and make it exactly like that!

In case you are running Windows: Windows is NOT case sensitive when it comes to filenames. It is because the programmers in Big Bill's Business aka Micro$oft just made a graphich version of M$DOS, which they have been doctored on ever since [img]graemlins/hehe.gif[/img]

So you could even write CoRaNm.BmP and cOrAnS.bMp if you like to (some teenagers do).
