Aside from Undermountain, I've been checking out the following ones which are quite good IMHO:
Dysotopia in Action is massive, haven't done any quests, but it's almost like a classic persistent world since there are always between 15-30 PCs running around - though it seems to have been taken over by ubermunchkins lately. Game of Gods in Roleplay is quite detailed as well. What are you guys playing? |

Looks like not many people are playing online. Let me rephrase my question: how many people are actually playing online mods?

i play on a pvp map called Halls of Adanced Training.
there is a pool of radiance mod, as well as a lord of the rings mod (havent tried it yet). Dysotopia is alright, but there are too many people in it when i go in. ive played in a few mix and match mods too. ive yet to find YOUR server though Z, heh.

I'm playing online. Usually go to Lake of Linaria. Tried the Undermountain route, but since it's hardcore (if you die, you start over, and it's only on server vault too), I haven't found it too fun. I also try out various mods too. I do like other people in that I look for servers with other players already present, but I also go to some that are empty to give them a chance too.I've tried Halls of Advanced training, and it is little more than PvP. It does allow for team attacks, but you can only kill/be killed enough times that it isn't so fun after awhile. I've tried Dragons Keep too, but unless you have other characters in your party, it's suicide by itself. Eventually, I hope to have my own mod built up. Haven't had much time to work with it though.

I dunno. I have been mostly working on my own mod. It's called "Geeky Wonderland". Actually, I haven't really named it yet....
How do you download a mod and play it? How do you get to a site that will host the thing for you? What sites are there that will do that? I tried to join Escape From Undermountain, (building) but nobody answered me and I don't know where to get started. It seems that there's almost nobody on that forum...

I started out on the single-player until I found Multi-gaming with my group more fun...then we all started working on Modules of our own design, and have not reconnected since! I am completely hooked on building my own module, and have all intentions to try other modules later, but until I am finished mine.
