Healing henchmen

How do I give potions/use healing kit on my henchman?

Also, I'm using the rogue henchman, does he look for traps? How do I make him do it if he doesn't automatically?

Aelia, just right click on a potion and drag it to the henchman, either on screen or on his portrait.

As for directing henchman, unfortunately you can't do that. You can command them to Follow and Stand Your Ground, you can talk to them and change their tactics, but most of their default tactics are set for them to automatically do things. So your rogue should spot and disarm traps automatically. [img]smile.gif[/img]

To use the healing kit you open up its "circular menu" thing choose the "red cross" icon to "use" it, and then bring the active cross icon over the guy you want to heal, i think thats how you use them on yourself too

You can also put the healing kit in your speedbar and click on it,then put the cursor on your henchman and left-click.

yes thats a good idea too, only my hotkay bar is completely full

Well the one thing that i think you CANT do is to GIVE potions or healing kits TO the NPCs.. right?

I hope I am not stating the obvious here, Evergreene, but you have 36 total hot keys. F1-F12, SHFT+F1-F12, and CTRL+F1-F12.

Also, you cannot give hireling potions and kits to save. If you hand them one they use it instantly. I have noticed that Dalean (sp?)the Half-Orc barb quaffs quite a number of potions so I am inclined that they have an unlimited number of certain types of potions. Maybe a use/day thing. At any rate I hardly ever give him any yet he is always downing them during fights.
