I bring the question to you... now that the peasants are lying on cold stone slabs in the basement of the Brimloch Roon Inn, what should become of them? I have no patience to develop another peasant, grow him to be able to get to BR, and then resuscitate the peasants. And I've played this game fairly, not reloading after death or stupidity, and only using arbitrage for an edge (which, given the many lost quests, I think is a fair trade). So just reloading, even though I followed Mama Hissy's rules of saving early and often, seems wrong to me.

Not quite the ending I had expected... but I think that's where I am. And we know where they are...

What do you think?

...but as the last of the peasants fell to the ground they called out to the numerous kerah statues they met on their journey, and heard the angel's reassuring words that gave them new life..

I'd have no problem with reloading but I know that goes against your grain when you've so carefully avoided it to this point. I'd still do it - you've spent so much time on these peasants - I'd give them 3 tries at the giant before calling it quits.

When I am playing under the "no reloading" rule I have a friend in the inn that I give enough money to resurrect the group in the Temple if they all die.

Hmmm... I may think about that. Someone's brother, wondering where they've gotten off to...

It got to me last night, when Flicker finally fell and I realized that they were all gone... I was going to reload, but stopped short...

I decided to take a break, and dug up Deadlock, an old Accolade game (along the lines of Civilization, but with taunting and namecalling). Stayed up until 3AM... 'twas a bit too much fun

Oh.. I havn't play with rule "don't resume game from saved game.." I just allways keep my party living. And All mistakes are mine own. I cast meteor or fire shower in wrong place.. then I reload game..

And Bungleau, did you mean yoy killed some innocent people , or was it your mule (that I don't ever use!)

What I meant is that the party was killed by Goshin. Every last one of them.

And since I've never used a mule to hold stuff at the inn, I have no one to head to the temple and heal even one of them. I'd have to create a new character, have them start, and see what happened.

When I normally play, I'll reload from saved games for stupid things (like casting firestorm on myself). It's just that in this game, I'd played everything clean every step of the way, and to reload now would be... dishonorable.

I guess I've heard Torin talk too many times...

BTW, Olli, good to see you again! How are things in the far north?

But you gotta finish! You cant stop now, I was getting really into it.
..I even printed them off and read them on bus on the way to school

EDIT: I know it goes against everything you said, but maybe you can pretend it never happened, and maybe you will forget that it ever happened so you won't feel guilty about it..

EDIT#2: I understand though, if you do not wish to continue it.

I am with Wyvern. Go for the reload... After all it is a common request from the regulars...

Oh, and Olli... Nice to hear from you again.
