Is it ever possible to gain more than one spell per level-up? Is there any other way to learn new spells?

Welcome to the board john. [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img] You can not learn more than one spell per level up. But you can purchase spells at the temple or the magic shoppe, they look like books. If you learn spells this way you will not gain the same amount of spell points though. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Like Willow said, it's one spell per level-up. But don't let that bother you -- you'll get every spell you really need without too much difficulty. I never buy or use spell books, except perhaps for the Vine school Cure Poison spell. That one I may use a book for if I need it. Do keep us posted on how your game is going. We're all ears...

... ... ... ... ... ... ... In the "Best Tips" thread there is a list of which spellbooks you can buy in which guild. That should help you plan the development of your spellcasters. Furthermore there are some certain treasure chests in the game that always contain the same books. I know some of them, if you want to know them.
