Narlen Darkwalk. Need help. Spoiler!!

I'm suppost to meet him at the Splurging Sturgeon inn. Found him. No problem.

We are suppost to help him and his partner but the deal is always called off and he walks away. What should I say to him (the conversation always turns out to be pretty odd)??

You have to leave your party somewhere else on the map and only talk to Narlen with your thief - either you if you are one, or an NPC like Imoen. If you don't do this, he will call it all off, as you've seen yourself.

I left my party as he said earlier.

Should I give him the golden pan... + will I get them back??

Jan, you are getting Nalen Darkwalk mixed up with Mr. Shade. Honestly, don't you read people's names? [img]tongue.gif[/img] If Nalen says anything about the Golden Pan...., you have a bug. Nalen is outside, Mr. Shade is inside.

Of cause I read the names. If there's a mix up then it is caused by a bug.

Here goes: Meet Nalen Darkwalk but only a thief. Done.
Odd conversation and he took the golden pan.

Afair, when you talk to him he sets you under a window. When Flaming fist arrives you just have to yell a warning to them and run off with your party.

I'm sorry guys. I misunderstood something.

You were right SixOfSpades. Narlen is outside.

I ran into him with the entire party. I guess the quest is wasted or can I still solve it?

You can still solve it. Send everybody except a Thief out of Nalen's line of sight (indoors is good) and talk to him again.
