Lots of you recommend the "Fireball-Spell" but I have not find it yet. To which level does it belong to? And is Dynaheir able to use it?

Firebal, level 3 invocation. SO yes, dynaheir can use it. Only NPC mage that cant IIRC is Xan, and who can stand that git for long anyway
![]() You might be able to buy it from thalantyr (high hedge, west of beregost, watch out or the gnolls an skeletons) or get it from random treasure. I dont think youll have to wait for the magic shop in baldurs gate, since I definatley remember usin this one in cloakwood.

You can't buy if from High Hedge. I know, as I've wept tears over the fact. You should be able to pick it up at the Bandit Camp (inside the main tent I think). Or, if you rescue Dynaheir when she is level 6, she has it already.

If you can't find the spell itself, there are plenty of alternatives to it, including a Wand of Fire, which Xan can use.

If you have DSotSC installed their is a spell called Melf's Explosive Meteors.
You can no longer use weapons however every time you attack a creature you cast a fireball at it and you can continue to cast them until the spell wears off or you stop attacking things. They are instantly used much like a throwing dagger, you can however see a downside to this spell. [ 10-15-2002, 07:23 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

Well, it's the wrong forum I know, but as I've raised it...There are alternatives in BG, but IWD doesn't have that luxury. The sort of problems that you'll encounter on the Sword Coast, are a lot less demanding then the Spine of the World. Besides, as it's the only game were I can achieve something other than a maximum of 10th level with a single class, I like to think that we'd be allowed to play with all of the pretty toys that you'll never get to see in BG itself. That's all really. Is that so much to ask?
