Fireball Spell

I have my party up to around level 5/6 and Dynheir whatever her name is, is now 5th level the only freaking spell I have is dispel magic, I cannot seem to find a fireball scroll or place to buy said scroll, I cant buy it in BG city proper because I have not cleared the bandit camp. Sure would be nice if I could kill bandits with fireball, Doesa ANYONE know where I can get a fireball scroll from ANY source, monster, store, NPC etc.

I found my fireball scroll in the Firewine Bridge dungeon (you can either access it via the Firewine Bridge map area or through a secret door under a house in Gullykin); the place is crawling with kobold commandoes though, pesky little things which fire arrows of fire. To be exact, I sourced it off an enemy mage somewhere in the western area (took him down with a well-placed backstab ).
Alternatively, you can buy it from Thalantyr in High Hedge, the area just west of Beregost. Btw, this place is the most well-stocked magic store, apart from Sorcerous Sundries in BG, I've found so far. So you can shop to your hear's delight here!

take your time, do some side quests, lvl up, and backstab (or just straight battle out) all the bandits.

Mirror I think you´re wrong: Thalanthyr doesn´t sell fireball I think. There is the scroll in Firewine AND in the Bandit Camp itself. In the southern tent near the big tent with the mercenaries, there is another Fireball. And it isn´t very difficult to get in there cause as I´ve said it is in the southern tent and in this side there aren´t still too many bandits.

But if the bandits fed you up, you can infiltrate talking to the mercenaries in Larswood.

Thanks, with the help of an invisibity and Iomens' shadowing ability, I easily aquired the the fireball scroll from the bandits camp. Now I'm not stuck with just dispel magic for 3rd level mage spells, however dispel magic proved VERY useful when fighting those damn sirines.
