Ok, I decide to play with a paladin in this game, so guess what? I meet those iron collar slackers and just want to kick ass, but I've got a paladin and I don't get a dialog option to provoke combat. I don't really want my paladin to become "fallen" this early. Do I have any viable options?

No fallen paladins here. Too bad.

The alignment doesn't seem to change in this game. So you can do anything you want without fear.

do you really need to kick their butt? i had one of my sorcerers that also had a high diplomacy/bluff skills talk to the iron collar group and he was able to convince them to get back to the palasides to help out.

I didn't max anybody out in those skills when I created them. I just buffed up and killed them. I only asked because this is the first D&D RPG that I decided to have a paladin in the party(I was getting tired of finding really neat stuff in the other games....only to find out *only usable by Paladin*). I just thought it was ironic. Rep didn't matter in IWD, and doesn't seem to matter in IWD2.
