Here is what the replies have been, so far...

Mace of the Eye Tyrant (Flesh to Stone)
A Beholder eye from one of the small eye stalks was cast in the center of this mace. The eye used in the creation of this mace was the eye that casts 'Flesh to Stone'. The mace, when magically enchanted, inhereted the ability of the eye and was able to produce a similar, but weaker, effect on each successful attack.

STATISTICS:
Damage: 2D4 +4
THAC0: +4
Special Attack: 15% on each successful attack, 'Flesh to Stone' is cast on the target.
Weight: 10
Speed: 4
Damage Type: crushing (blunt)
Weapon Proficiency: mace
Type: 1-handed
Not Usable By:
druid
mage

My idea is the Nadlok's Mirror:

It's a vey old Mirror, noones Knows when was create or by who. Its origin is lost in time. Noones knows
why it was create or for what... Some people have discover some of its powers and use it with diferentes
causes...But there was one that use it and in some way altered it. 1000 years ago an evil sorcerer use the
powers of the mirror to duplicate object making then more powerfulls. The mirror alway get back an
amplificate image. Using it, the mage could create powerfull object in a great number. He have the
equipament for a legion. But, the sorcered blinded by the power try to duplicate himself to get more
power. the mirror create a duplicate of the mage but much more powerfull and much more evil. The
duplicate kill the mage inmediatly, but his spell were so powerfull and he destroy the place imprisioning
him and the mirror. The duplicate died with the time but his esence was too evil and altered the mirror.
The mirror get conciend of itself and staart planing how to create kaos, destruction and death... It's still
waiting it oportunity to make evil...

Well, the history could be diferent but the idea is to meet a powerfull object that could duplicate the party
and make it fight againts us. Some people say that it is interesting figthing other partys, and what about
figthing and evil version of our party!!! It could be a great battle and obstacle. The mirror Idea, in my
opinion can give a lot of oportunities. Perhaps the mirror duplicate some objects of the party but making
then cursed, or duplicate good objects but if the party insist create the party duplicate to fight...

Stave of Surtur

Weap Prof: Quarterstaff.
Usable by: Any that can use staff
Combat bonuses +2, +4 vs Frost Giants/Salamanders.
Double damage against Frost Giants.
Can summon 1 Fire Giant per day.
50% Immunity to cold
25% chance of 2d4 Fire Damage to opponent.

Forged by the Fire Giant God Surtur in the Elemental Plane of Fire, blessed by the Efreet Pashas in the City of Brass - the Stave of Surtur is said to be a river of lava held within a stasis field in which the souls of slain Fire Giants reside, waiting to wreak their vengeance on the living. Passed into the Prime Material by unknown adventurers its history is shrouded in more smoke than the plane it was forged. It is said that when the stave finally slays the last Frost Giant on Faerun, Surtur himself will rise and raze the Realms with rivers of fire.

Be nice to see a clerical/druid equiv for the +4 throwing dagger and the +2 throwing axes. Plus hammers are one category of weapon that is overall pretty lacking, due in part to their crappy damage rating.

Something along the lines of that +3 shortbow in BGII that fires magic phantom arrows or real ones if you have them in your quiver.
With a lot of IWD being out in the boonies,or should that be glaciers and far away from shops ammo is a real pain most of the time.

Dar's Ring of Whoopin

Dar the Wizard hated having to fight from a distance, he always wished that he could get into the melee like the warriors around him. Alas he did not possess the skills to do so and really did not like to use up spell slots for Tenser's Transformation and Black Blade of Disaster but what could he do? One day he decided to craft an item that would allow him to fight like a warrior and have a +5 magic sword as well, thus after many months of work he forged a ring that would allow him to be a warrior(well for a little while anyway).

Item: Ring
Usable by: Wizards only
Powers: When activated the ring cast Tenser's Transformation and Black Blade of Disaster.
Uses:The ring can be used 2x/day for 5 rnds each use.

I'm amazed there haven't been any extremely wild ideas. Yet.

btw, do you know if there is a time limit on how when a submission has to be in by? I'm still working on mine, but I probably won't get it submitted in time I figure.

Have not heard of one, bu I would assume that it will be soon, if they were to release this thing in May-June time.

How about some Bermuda Shorts of the North or maybe some Berkinstocks of Stealthy Treading. Oh or better yet! Some Aloha Threads of Stunning! Nothing like a garish hawian print shirt to make someone gouge out their eyes.

Two weapon ideas:
1. Druid's Wash - a gift from Mother Faerun to her druidic disciples & protectors. The weapon is a scimitar forged from the volcanic depths, risen to pounded and turned by the waves, buffed by the earth and glistened by the wind. Very few druids have access to such a weapon, as it is regarded a personal gift from Mother Faerun to specific protectors. The blade's stats reflect the balance and harmony sought by druids and the Mother; i.e., reflective of the 4 sacred directions:

THACO: +4
Damage: 1d8 +4
AC Bonus: +4
Speed: 4
Penalty: -4 to Saving Throws against specific magical attacks

2. Dile's Vengeance - Dile was a great and heroic paladin who retired after fighting an unholy battle with the most vile of Demons. After vanquishing the demon, Dile left the Order to seek the quiet life as a farmer with his wife and child. Peace reigned in his life until the demon found a way to return to Faerun before the conclusion of its 100 year banishment. The demon raped and murdered his wife and child and destroyed his farm. However, the demon spared Dile to a life of torment - bearing within him the memory of destruction wrought by the demon. But Dile's vengeance seethed and a great blade came of his anger and anguish. He poured into the sword his hatred and pain. However, what was to be Dile's vengeance ultimately led to Dile's demise. For in his making such a mighty weapon, Dile had lost his balance and spiritual center. He slayed the demon once more and in his final strike, the demon struck back - carrying Dile into the abyss and leaving a smoking blade behind.

Attributes:

THACO: +5
Damage: 1d10 +7
Speed: 2 strikes per round

Penalty: -2 AC and 5% chance that 1d3 HPs drained per strike

Not useable by Paladins or chaotic good characters

This is Artemis Entreri's weapon when he acquires it in Servant of the Shard by R.A. Salvatore. We have worked on making this weapon as closely related to the original as possible. We still think we have underestimated its abilities. The real weapon would be too powerful. We suggest a sidequest be made to acquire this weapon. For better reference of its characteristics you can refer to the book, but you won't get any closer then this. But you can change it if you think it is doesn't fit your standards. The blinding effect is from the black cloud that the weilder can make in the book, that you can't see through, so I think the blinding spell was good enough. The poison is from when you get even a scratch from the sword you will slowly die, the critical hit is also part of this. And without the gauntlet, there is a big chance a inexperienced fighter would get killed by the sword( exception, people like Artemis Entreri) Sheild of Archon for the gauntlet we think is perfect for this, because the claw can absorb only the spells dericted at the wielder and not the area effect spells. So please put this into the expansion. Anyway here it is, one of the most lethal weapon in IWD downloadable expansion.
Charon's Claw (Sword)

Damage: 1d8+4, slashing
Thaco: +3
Special Abilities: On critical hit, Save vs. Death -3 on target
25% chance per hit to blind target
35% chance per hit to poison target
When first weilded without the Gauntlet, weilder has to save vs. spell -6 or get Dolorous Decay with a chance of 5-30 hit points per second until dead.

Charon's Claw (Gauntlet)

Thaco. +1
Damage: +2
Special Abilities: User always under effect of Shield of Archons

My 25th Level Fighter has a +4 Vorpal 2-Handed Battle Axe. But if they twist that to 3rd edition it would just mean they had to save or die.
They really took the sting out of Vorpal weapons in 3E.

How about a Girdle of Priestly Might.
Grants Priest +2 Strength
+2 Saves vs. Crushing and Slashing Weapons
+2 For Turning Undead
Heal 2x a day
