Any tips? Project images doesn't work even with spell immunity - divinity and abjuration. Fallen planetars can't hurt the prince, nor can breath or any magic attacks.

Timestop may help you a bit - use it, and you will probably notice first what it doesn't do in this particular fight. It can make the battle easier, however, on account of what it does do.

My first use of timestop against Demmy was nothing short of disastrous... Granted, I was playing a party at the time -- my jaw dropped to the floor as my tanks got ripped to shreds in no time.

Anyway, I realize that el_kalkylus seems to be soloing, so maybe the effect of TS on other combatants would be marginally helpful.

Still I would probably go with lots of summons to distract the Mariliths, then lower resistence (three of them in a sequencer, maybe?), greater malison, and comet, comet, comet. I don't know if it would work, but eventually he'd have to take some damage, no?

Thanks, Dundee. No sense wasting precious casting time. Maybe I need to turn the feedback up on my game and use Power Word Pause to check whether my spells are actually working. Would the higher feedback give me that info?

I was wrong. The planetars could damage the prince, and spell immunity -divinity on a project image did work as long as the project image wasn't attacked. I don't think spell immunity abjuration works though.
With this knowledge I was able to kill the prince with a couple of planetars and one project image (the rest of the images are dispelled so quickly).

Thanks btw.

it doesn't...i've tested spell immunity abjuration with projected images, and dispell works on them despite logic...

also, deathward will not protect summons (including simmys) from deathspell.
