It is also a very tough mod. It improves the AI of almost every spellcaster inthe game, and alters most of the major enemies to make them harder. And it adds some new tough encounters as well.

Yes, It can really make things tough in the beginning. As stated, it REALLY improves the tactics of enemy spellcasters, they become ferocious. I had to un-install a few of the options until my party is a little tougher. It was throwing Liches around as random dungeon encounters! I was doubly screwed because their spellcasting was vicious!

On a side note, if you have The Darkest Day installed, make sure that you only install the TDD-compatible elements of the mod. In case you do, you can find a nice list in this forum:

Hmm yes, spellcasters are a pain in the ass. Especially Boss spellcasters. I wouldnt reccomend the MOD to anyone who hasnt finished the game at least once yet. But when you have and you look for further challenge, Tactics MOD is indeed the way to go.

It's great in ToB when your party can handle everything without a sweat and is looking for a challenge! Try it with Insane difficulty; keep those quicksaves handy.

None and none. All it does is to make new challenges for you, it doesn't add anything else to the game. Except the Anti-Paladin kit.

If what you want is new items, you should check out the Item Upgrade Mod.

Oh, I don't know. The yellow dragon armor isn't too shabby, the Sandochu, and spear from the red badge encounter are pretty neat. However, no new spells are obtained unless you download the spell 50 mod which just increases the power of spells

I wonder how I forgot about those, Sanchuudoku being one of my favourite weapons and all...
