Just making sure...(final battle)

I only have to fight Big Mel three times, right? if the answer to that is yes, I have another question-> I have one wish scroll I want to use to restore spells and junk, before which battle should I use it? The first battle in itsself totally drained my party. suggestions, anyone?

Now that you completed the game, try the ascension mod. It change the ending of the game, and it's a lot better. It's made by one of the dev of the game.

its four times, and the best time to use it would be after the third battle. Thats what I did. Took me a great deal of time to take her out the third time, but after that it was piece of cake. Now Im going trough with the ascension mod and tactics mod as a solo sorcerer. My experiences so far with my sorc, tells me that it will be way to easy...but oh well.
