I have gotten to the last battle and am getting slaughtered every time. It is down to my group and Saverok, Angelo, and Semaj. I have spent hours trying different scenerios to beat them. All for not. I have 2 fighters, 2 clerics, a thief, and a mage. Any suggestions would turn my mad face into a smiley face. Thanks in advance.

Greetings MasterMonk I agree that the last battle is pretty tough, but some magic with strategy makes it a whole lot easier..
Okay, here's what I recomend: Stock up on Wands of fireball and wands of monster summoning (2 of each will do the trick), And when you enter the Temple of Bhaal and approach Sarevok's party, empty the fireball-wands on the edge of the stairs..this will take out Angelo and Semaj, while Sarevok will remain due to his invounerabillty for magic... but this is where the wands of monster summoning come to play, empty those around him and just sit back and watch the sommoned monsters do the work.. Good luck |

I used the same tactic, but watch out, my party panicked from the slaughter of the summoned monsters. Summon Skeletons they do not effect the party like summoned monsters do.

if you are getting tired of getting slaughtered at this end fight there are cheat codes that you can install on the game that allows you to have the one and only Drizzt D'uorden appear and fight your battles for you. He is one hell of a fighter and it usually takes out sarevok and his cohorts.
if you want the codes (there are other codes too, like unlimited money if you use it enough) let me know and i will send you the link |

If you have a mage that has access to 4th level mage spells, you might want to have him case "haste" on your warriors--especially those that are quite handy with bows and arrows or crossbows. With this and some sort of summoning spell (for monsters or the undead), you might be able to rip Saverok and his comrades to shreds before they are even able to get close to your characters (which, as you probably have figured out, is a bad idea).
Also, make sure you stay out of reach of the web traps--your archers can't shoot many arrows while tangled up in webs (unless, of course, they have some sort of "free action" spell on them, which allows them to do whatever, despite the webs). Hint--get the enemy mage out of the picture as soon as possible--his area effect spells can destroy your entire party if you give him a chance. Tazok and Sarevok have to be near you to kill you--Semaj and Angelo do not!). |
