on the kit description for kensais, it says that they get -1 speed facotr/4 levels, but as i level up i notice no speed difference... is this a bug or is the adjustment so small that i cannot notice? if its a bug, i'd like someone to make a patch, or i'll edit my kensai's speed through shadowkeeper to make it like it should be.

I also use the Kensai. As far as I know, the -1 is combined with the weapon you are using. So for example, if the speed factor of your weapon is already 2, a -2 character speed factor will make the weapon 0. Therefore further level increases will make no difference.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Aviendha's correct, the speed factor with any weapon can be 0 at its best, that is, no delay whatsoever between a character being told to attack an enemy and starting the attack swing, and that swing actually conencting with the enemy. A 2-H sword has the slowest speed factor of 10, therefore taking the longest time to hit the emeny (weapon speed factors translate exactly the same as mage spell casting times), so when a kensai gets his speed factor bonuses, he will eventually be able to swing the heavier 2-Handed weapons with deadly accuracy, massive damage and super fast speed.

The current bonus should be recorded on your character record screen, near teh bottom by where it gives information about your stat abilities (ie extra damage from high strength or reaction adjustment from dexterity) most likely in the section dealing with weapon style specializations.
