Waaaa! I hate the new load screen! Can anyone help?

I can't stand the new load screen that came with ToB (which I just got). I used to entertain my five year old with the game (summon and control creatures, etc.), but now I can't, unless I wanna scare him with the ugly skull. Please. Can anyone help me? Does anyone know of any way I could get my old load screen back (the one with the two faces)?

I dont think there is a way to change the loading screen.

You could unistall Throne of Bhaal until you have finshed playing through Bg2, And then install it once you are ready to continue, although you would lose the manifold benefits. Theres no way to change the loading screen though.

Hmmm I can't remember exactly, but I think if you override the background image with one of your choice, you can replace it. You need to use Infinity Explorer or Near Infinity to find the image (can't remember the name but I think it's under .MOS files) and just place an image in the same format with the same name in the override folder. This SHOULD replace it, I haven't actually tried it though.
The simplest way might be to just save the SoA main screen image to the same name as the ToB one into the override.

Technically speaking, the demilich's skull image comes on during saving of the game, the loading part (which contains scenic images) are actually much better than SoA.

But I agree, the skull gives me the creeps too...

I tried this method yesterday and Vaskez's intuition is correct--this method will work. Quite nicely, too, I might add.
