Im fighting the ravager right now, he is so TOUGH!!!!!!! Sarevok did a deathbringer assault on him and he was only barely injured, that was only after Sarevok Greater Whirlwinded him, which was after I sent a fallen planetar with to greater earth elementals, which was aft6er atleast 8 delayed fireballs. Someone help me beat him. Jan died so I cant set spiked traps where he shows up, and I saved after he died, and my main character is an assassin who canm set traps, but he cant go in without the ravager showing up. How do I kill him?

Ravager is that pleasant reddish fellow in the last of the Hell tests.
I'm kind of surprised that a Deathbringer assault only brought him down to Barely Injured...I believe he has 540 HP or thereabouts. So, if you can manage to buff sarevok a hell of a lot, a few GWWs should take him down. Note (just to warn you) that he's immune to timestop, so don't try it. Oh and make sure to Breach him at the beginning to get rid of those rotating blades around him (i'm not remembering which blades spell he uses) so your characters don't take as much damage |

Get your Mages to blast him with 3 Pierce Shields, then blow him away with every single spell you got. Use your summons to distract the Bone Blades and get your tanks to Greater Whirlwind him. If you have Anomen, get him to cast Harm and hit the Ravager after the 3 Pierce Shields. Remember to cast Breach too, to get rid of the Blade Barrier.

ravager?.
oh, him imoen beat him up... well, she was a greater wolfwere at the time... more seriously, raise 5 mordakainens swords and use them to engage the boneblades. (raise them _before_ walking into the room). there will be one boneblade left, but just ignore it. next get little miss regeneration (aka imoen as a greater wolfwere with about 12hp/round regen)(use the shapechange spell) to fight the ravager. she hits him relatively slowly so the blade barrier does next to nothing to her, esp with that regen canceling all damag she takes. she should last a long, long time. long enough in fact for the ravager to run out of blade barriers. while shes doing that the others are avoiding that stray boneblade. he's still probably uninjured, but now you can take 3 super fighers and beat the crap out of him. greater whirlwind + rod of the ram +6 works wonders hear, and the sword of grief works well to. is also had foebain+5/andurval+5 on myself, so all in all this last part was pretty quick. in the end i didnt actualy cast any spells in the challenge itself, all 8 were cast in the preparation. if your PC is a mage then youd probably be better doing the wolfwere thing youself as well. more hp and better thaco in all probability.

Ah you said you were using planetars, dont. It takes +4 weapons to hit him and planetars only have +3. If you do use a planetar send it after the boneblades.
