How do you defeat the chromatic demon in the second level of watchers keep?

Defeating the demon - SPOILERS:
/ / / / / / / / / / / You can just whack him down with magic weapons, but they just won't do much damage. You may have noticed that he switches forms. I think each of his forms is weak against a certain element: Red Demon form is weak against Ice Ice Golem form is weak against Fire Shambling Mound form is weak against Lightning Air Elemental form is weak against Acid Note: these may not necessarily be right, but I'm fairly sure they are.
