TDD: Dinan quest broken (Trollsford)...Help

Slight Spoilers maybe.

The end result:
I return to Dinan and "Dinan has nothing to say to me." I have the prison key and that other key. He won't talk. I've tried exiting the dungeon and going back and nothing happens. His girlfriend is already free, the boss at the end is dead. My characters charisma is 17.

I have the TDD walkthrough, I followed it exactly after the game already got stuck in movie mode once when I finished the cave with the dwarf.

Anyone know how to make Dinan talk?

Also, I must have hit a wrong key somewhere, I'm showing all the blue outlines for exits etc. How do I get out of that mode?

Ok, I must have hit ctrl4 during the cave sequence but reloading made the blue objects go away. I don't think that would mess up a quest...

That has happened to me too. I reloaded and Dinan got more talkative. If that doesn´t work just leave and CLUA/SK yourself the XP. The mission is practically over and theres only some talking left.

I tried to reload and it didn't change. I can't find any globals for anything related to that quest in Shadowkeeper except for the kid who ate some troll. Does anyone know if it is possible to force him to talk?

I would CLUA the experience but there is another quest (according to the walkthrough) worth another 50,000 for finding the kidnapped girlfriend. With the first quest broken, it won't trigger. I was also interested in what eqp it would yield since it seems to be variable. I'll replay this section one more time and that's it. Trolls!!! I'm sick of Trolls!!! I even have Kagain with me and he's really sick of them. thanks

Ok, I fixed it. I didn't know about the little 1.5 mb patch for TDD. I found it in another post, installed it and Dinan finally talked. Good thing I had saved before talking to him the second time.

Ahhh, yes. The TDD patch 103A is critical. Fixes lots of bugs. Don't play TDD without it!
