I'm playing BG2, with ToB installed, and i'm at the point where you have to face Bodhi for the final time. But before going down the crypts again, i decided to do the Watcher's Keep quest first, just to gain some additional XP and stuff.

Well... at the end of that quest, when i killed The One, i went back up to finish the quest, but i couldn't initiate the dialogue. After telling that there was no need for the ritual, because The One has been slain, i got a message that there is no answer to such dialogue, and the same line of text was below, where normally the "end dialogue" option is. So that must be some kind of bug, which doesn't allow me to finish the quest, and receive my well deserved XP.

Also.... after this, i went into Bodhi's lair for the final confrontation, and normally there's hordes of vampires jumping you right from the start. They were there alright, except this time they didn't really attack me. They just stood there, being cannonfodder for my tanks. Bodhi normally puts up a pretty tough fight as well, but died after only two or three blows from Minsc. Basically the vampires LET me kill them, which isn't exactly normal as far as i remember.

So that's two major bugs in a row. Anyone know what could cause this ?

Heh, I couldn't really tell you johnny, I've come across a lot of bugs in the game, but nothing like that. The most I can tell you to do is to try reinstalling the patches or the game, usually helped getting rid of some of my glitches. Then go back to a save before (or after) you beat The One, and see how things turn out.

@ johnny

1. If you get to fight the WK final boss (= he shows up and fight you), you're in the end of the quest anyway. Normally, after you kill him, there'll be nobody in the entrance area.

2. that sounds bizzare; however, if you are able to clean the WK in SoA, the standard Bodhi battle is a cakewalk for you anyway.

Yeah, with all the buffing up, it has become fairly easy. Protection against evil Radius 10, defensive harmony, and such spells, make your life pretty easy in this world, except when your opponent just stands there, and does nothing, it becomes boring pretty fast.

The weird things stopped once i entered Suldanessalar though. They put up a fight again in the Elven city. It still leaves me with an unsatisfied feeling though. I've cleared WK before, and it went as it's supposed to be that time, so i still miss out on some decent XP that would have been given to me after the final dialogue.

You has de bugs. If'n I's be you, I be reinstallin', or at least reloadin'.

The problem most likely lies in your DIALOG.TLK file. That would explain both bugs, since the TLK file is what determines what everyone in the game has to say, and also the lethargic Vampires--as soon as you enter the lair, one of them (Meredath?) says something like "You are foolish to face my mistress, ," or something like that, and then they all go hostile. If that script cannot fire due to corrupted data, a lair full of stoned-out Undead might follow.
