system requirements

Gidday, how would BG2 run on my old P2-350, 128MB Ram, 16MB TNT Vanta??
Would I be able to play in 'graphics accelerated mode' - does this make much difference to the graphics in BG2??

BG2 should run fine, but not in accelerated mode.

Accelerated mode in BG2 actualy tends to be slower, but it does give nice special effects. Only if your 3d card is up to it, and only if the drivers are good. I know that Ross_bg2_rox recently upgraded from a vanta, maybe he can tell us exactly how bad it is, but Im fairly certain it will be bad. Leave it in software mode and it will be fine.

Actually, I play on a P2-300 Mhz, 64MB RAM, ATI 3DRAGE and I have the highest "stuff" on sometimes and it floats on just fine

You want me to tell you how bad the TNT 32mb was on Accelerated GMode. Well I did actually use it and it was ok. When I had the old Drivers though it seemed to be a bit jerky but with the new ones in it ran pretty well.
