DualClassing and Experience

Just had a thought while playing through Chapter 3. A certain enemy lvl drained one of my party members, and for the rest of the dungeon that party member didn't gain any XP. But when I finaly got around to casting restoration on them they seemed to gain the XP they would have had they not been lvl drained.
This brings up an interestiong solution to late duals, if you had a high level character and wanted to dual could you.
1. Get level drained a few levels.
2. Dual class to new class.
3. Cast restoration when you feel you have enough XP to gain back your orriginal class.

This might work because it seems that character advancement is halted when a character gets level drained. Not sure if this works but if it does this means high level duals whould become easier to play, because the character whould retain there original class abilitys until the lvl drain was removed.
Has anybody tried this? I will test it later tonight, if someone else could and post results in this thread that would be much appreciate.

i think they get stuck at level one. wouldn't be sure though.

I think it'll just redistribute the XP between the classes, but lets see the exerimental results.

You can do you really can DO it.

Not when you get level drained you cannot dual it simply won't allow you to. I'd show you a screenshot of this IF I knew how to take a screenshot.

Press Print Screen key (it is above Insert [img]tongue.gif[/img] ). The screenshot is created in your BG2 ScrnShot directory then. Open it with Paint or some other program, and save it as .jpg file.
Upload it somewhere and link to it in your post.
If you have no means of uploading, send it to somebody who would do it for you (me, for example).

Just finished my testing. And Sythe is correct, you can't dual class when lvl drained.
Too bad.
