Default Phishing attempts

I probably don't need to warn folks on here about this but in the interest of playing it safe .....

There are a series of phishing attempts currently being spread under the guise of emails from the IRS.

According to the IRS, they do NOT utilize email to notify people of issues with their accounts. So if you get anything labeled as IRS Notification, PURGE it. Under NO circumstance should you open the attachment(s).

And forward it to the following email address:

www.phishing@irs.gov

"They" did this last year as well, timed it just as the 'real' IRS was conducting screening audits.

Just remember, not all internet users are fully versed in the art of "fake".
