Getting ready to play BGI through again for the first time in a long time, and I want to play through the DSotSC add-on. I want the character I play through with to be imported to BGII:SoA and go all the way through ToB. I'm aware that this is an unofficial add-on, so I was wondering if the experience, items, spells, etc. that you gain in DSotSC will import to SoA. Thanks in advance for any info you can give me.

Items (except a few specials) & spells don't import anyway, so they'll be removed anyway.

I wouldn't take the risk playing DSOTSC if you want to import into BGII, but that's not based on experience.

Silly me, I knew that. I guess what I meant to say is, are the spells you get spells that are in BGII, or are there some new/unique, etc. spells that they added in DSotSC that aren't in BGII?

There are new spells in DSotSC. Lots actually.

I think that if you still have DSotSC on your system when you install BG2 it wont mess anything up. Same goes for the items I think, and custom items which are imported into the "Override" folder, as well as sounds, scripts, music...

And if they arent, just take the files from the "Override" folder from BG1 and put them into BG2, it should work.

Im sure there will be a Dark Side of Amn some day too so, you shouldnt worry to much except for the fact that the level cap in DSotSC is level 40.

Hope that helps!
