Join the Dark side and we can rule the universe together!

During the battle with Cet he will ask you to join him on the dark side. What happens if I do join him? After ou beat him then Kerah and Anephas ask for the Mavin what happens if you do give it? What if you dont?

Have tried the ending with joining Cet, the end just is that that was predicted .....
The biggest nuisance is, you get more exp that way, because you have to fight Anephas (the whimp, who let's you normally do all the fighting even though he claims, that he will join you after the portal is open) and that will give substantially more exp than getting rid of Cet.
Have not bothered trying the ending a third time with keeping the sword - just to boring hitting with 6 chars and only one makes damage - if there were some other monsters comming up ... but my other 5 chars complained bitterly about the waste of their time (and skill development) ....

Keeping the Mavin in the end scene only deprives you from getting the better Sword of Kerah.
I don't know if there are consequences later where your characters might "be consumed" by it although some of the wav files suggest that it is or was part of the game somewhere between developement and release.

My only comment is that Kerah and Anephas are a couple of lame @$$3$. Man, you would think that YOUR name would be put in the heavens or something but NOOOOOOOOOO. I thought about killing Cet, Anephas, and Kerah for putting me through all of that. Since I saved before the final fight I may just go ahead and do that.
