My monk suddenly lost all his speed factor bonuses. In the Windspear Hills dungeon he suddenly began walking as slowly as the rest of the party, and I can't get him to speed up again... tried everything, restoration spells, excessive resting, repatching, you name it. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix? Perhaps a console command?
He's level 13, and I'm not sure exactly what his speed factor value would be.. I know he got a -1 at level 8 and another -1 at level 12, but I don't know what the value was before that. Anyway, that's that |

Did you cast Free Action on your monk, or equip him with the Boots of Speed then removed them? Both are known to futz with the monk's innate speed.
EDIT: Thought of this one right after I posted. Golem Slow might have had something to do with it. And I think there's a Baldurdash fix that'll restore it. [ 07-23-2003, 11:07 PM: Message edited by: Pirengle ]

Base speed for a monk is 2. So you should set it to 4 to get it back.

There are some magical items (I forget which) that give you free action, but in return don't allow you to haste or anything else. Make sure you don't have any of those equiped.

I may have equipped the boots of speed on him just to check if they would work.. seeing as haste isn't working on monks and all. I've probably cast free action on him at some point too.
Thanks for the info, guys, I'll check out the Balderdash fix if I can find it. If that doesn't work, would anyone happen to know the console command for changing speed factor? Now that I know it's 4 |

AFAIK, there is no CLUACode for speed factor. Use shadowkeeper.
