This game is pretty good so far, I am just past the first town. I have a question though. Is there a way to remove party members after you have added them? Right now I have Three, One who specializes in Fighting (main character), Archer (I hired from town), as well as the girl I picked up in the crypt. I now wish I had not allowed her to join as her stats are very weak, I was using her for magic but if I can I would prefer to replace her with the mage you can hire from town.

Select the character you want to disband, the click disband button on the field commands menu in the bottom right corner or use CTRL+D.

poll: what do you prefer - 7 characters and a pack animal (seeing as it doesn't have to be a mule in the expansion) or 8 characters?

i have 8. 2 archers, 3 fighters, 2 combat magic and 1 nature magic - for healing). i find pack animals just get in the way and i don't really bother with trying to stockpile items to sell to buy better items. i usually just play with what i find. serves me well enough

8 characters. To me I want everyone to be able to fight. Mules can't do that so I don't have mules.

5 fighters , 1 archer, 1 combat mage, 1 nature mage. All are npcs that will join you for free. Yes, I'm a cheapscake unwilling to spend my money.

Hmm!!!! Do I really need to go with such a large party. I was thinking mayby going with only 4 and 5 at the most. They seem to level up slowly so should I build a bigger party? Suggestions???

More characters = More hands on deck but your characters will be of lower level.

Less characters = less hands on deck but your characters will be higher level.

Your choice really. for me, the more the merrier.

I'd prefer less, I usually play with 6, 3 or 2 fighters, 1 archer, 1 or 2 mages (depends on how many fighters) and 1 mule. It's pretty easy to finish the game that way! I think difficulty has something to do with the speed wich your chars level. If you'd play the first part 'hard' and the second 'easy' than the second part is way easier then when you've played the first part easy! or something like that

I typically play with just my character. Sometimes I have one henchman, but only for a short time or a specific area. It's harder that way, but for me that's just part and parcel of gaming--trying to best the baddies.

I like to play with 8 characters. The first time through I played with 7 and a mule, but then when the expansion came out and I saw you can get backpacks, I said nevermind the mule! I always feel so bad for muley anyways, sometimes he runs in the wrong direction and he makes the saddest sound when he dies, then I have to reload, but the guilt still remains LOL.
