There was a young noble named Dick,
Who head was shaped like a prick, When walking in town, He tripped and when down, On a lass named Nervese, And got his head wedged in her crevasse. [This message has been edited by Gabriel (edited 03-25-2001).] |

Staring at the sky,
I dream of you, Right now I feel fine, Knowing that the same stars shine down apon you, Seas and miles may be between us, But when we stare at the same sky, We are standing by each other side, Under the gazes of Pavo and Lupus, The shinnig light of Grus, Fornax and Equuleus, I dream about walking beside Eridanus holding your hand, Watchig the ticking of Horologium and the filght of Apus, Placing Corona Borealis apon your brow, and proclamming my love in font of Ara, Oh how I look apon these stars, dreaming of you, my love. ------------------ In the memory of a friend. |

Okay, here goes my first poem to the General Discussions board. This is one from my latest story at the Wizards & Warriors Story Archive. Hope you like it.
When the Sun went down, He stole the Moon away, And falling, one by one, the stars all left the sky, Not so long ago, Happily evers and afters entwined, and breadcrumbs showed us the way, out of the woods. Come take my hand, Better stay close to me, Did you hear a sound? Was it only the wind? Not so long ago, Happily evers and afters were one, and candles on altars once led, out of the woods. How can we go on, Knowing the fate we face, and how can we find strength, in that which we cannot erase? Are we all alone? Who'll tell our story, then? Can we turn the page, or is this the End? Once upon a time, Happily evers and afters held sway, But sometimes the breadcrumbs meet birds, and sometimes the candles meet winds, And sometimes there's no easy way, out of the woods... ![]() |
