Okay these threads went really well on the last board and I thought I make one here...... Just consider it high grade spam. Post away people, no one will be turn away, all levels of skill avabile....We even take the man/women from venus stuff.

Not a poem, either, unfortunately - as English is not my native language I have to refrain from mutilating it by trying to write poetry in it.

But have you seen my invitation on the BG II Forum to found a club of broken hearts on this forum ? You could be the Co-president.

I guess I'll put a poem in since nobody else has yet. Wish we could grab those poems on the old board too.

BEAUTIFUL KILLER

If you asked yourself waht is the most dangerous thing on earth,
What would it be?
Thinking long and hard on the subject
I came up with Beauty

Now I'm not talking about the Human Race
With all our hatred and Mirth
What I mean is our External Surroundings
Things of Nature and of the Earth

I fear the Purity and Serenity of Snowfall
Piling up relentlessly in an Icy Heap
I see the fatal potential even in these Modern Times
Our existence relies on Gas and Electric Heat

I fear the excitement of a Thunderstorm
The way intimidating everyday scenery looks Surreal
I can get mezmerized by the Lightning Display
And then am reminded of its accuracy to Kill

I fear the neon lava flowing Erupting Volcanos
That ultimately and inevitably creat new Land Mass
And the beautiful engulfing flames of a Forest Fire
That nourishes the old soil depleted from the Past

I fear the righteous arrogance of a Tornado
Proudly spinning its mark upon its Chosen Path
And the life awakening kick of an Earthquake
Rattling the consciousness of all in its Wrath

Our civilization presents an Illusion of Durability
Hiding the Truth of our Growing Vulnerability
These are God's beautiful creations for the Human Race
At least we know we can all die with a Smile on our Face

Heres an impromptu, so sorry...

the dark clouds await me
i float up, toward the dar sky
i leave my life, i leave my sorrow
behind me

renewed i rise
renewed i smile
i see the stars
the stars gaze on me with question

why did i leave?
why did i go
on where you should not have
and live till you have to?

i said
at least for the time being
before i crash down
give me some time to fly
to do the things i never could do on the ground
enjoy the laughter
savor the crisp air
love the colors
appreciate the creation
before i go crashing down...

sniff....
