Thank you kind sir, for the protection of my wolves, I will try to make sure they behave, but you know, there's always one bad apple in the basket.....and btw, my cabin is located on the spring that runs on the ley lines to the south of town.....
i will post char. info at another time, tho most know my character.
I am working on another but she will fit in nicely here, I think. And yes, T'Lara, I would be 'specially pleased to confide and consult with you now and then...'twould be my pleasure!!

FYI: I will be on sporadically this weekend, as the Goddess of WORK (shudders at that four-letter-word) has bestowed upon my being a HUGE project for the military that must be finished by MOnday, so I'll be on when I can, and then I'll be back to my normal cheerful self Monday night *L* P.S. If you have a question about my character I think the thread Looking for clans to joinis still up, and there is some info on KayLisa aka TAOWolf. I will try to get her settled in her cabin and such before Monday. Have a nice weekend, ya'll and I'll pop in as much as I can this weekend

Here's my profile redone (including stats)

Name: Ulrik Bahren
Nickname: Bear
Occupation: Landlord at 'The Bear's Arms'
Age: Early 50s
Background: Retired adventurer who returned to his home village, and decided to use some of his aquired wealth to start and run a prospering tavern in the town.
Although he's retired, he is still a huge strong toweting individual, with great strength and a gruff yet happy temperament.
Physique: Hugely tall, massively built and very strong, used to have black hair but is starting to go a bit grey and green-grey eyes.
(EDIT: Reading over that again, my character sounds like a mixture of Beorn and Conlan from IWD. (Without Beorn's ability to change into an actual bear.)

Stats:

Strength-18/00 or more, that's to represent his strength accurately.
Dexterity-14
Constitution-18
Intelligence-11
Wisdom-14
Charisma-9

I hope the stats aren't too high, but this is derived from a non-powered up fighter I had before, and the average of all of them is less than 15.

My name is TAOWolf, or if you prefer, KayLisa. I am from the distant grove of Manerethean, located outside of the Citadel Mantherean in the Kingdom of Ariandor. My Class is Druid, with shapeshifting abilities that include: cougar, wolf, and horse. My race seems to be in argument at the moment, but let us suffice to say...ehmm...HUMAN for now. I carry a sword called the SpiritSword that was imposed on me around 140 years ago, and have been carrying the cursed thing ever since. When wielding this sword, if used in conjunction with the platinum bracer amulet around my neck, if I kill my enemy, I also absorb his soul into the sword, gaining a measure of his skills for one day. I am skilled in the use of daggers, quarterstaff, broadsword, and the use of amulets and herbs. Because of the curse put upon me the day I recieved that sword, my eyes will glow, especially when upset, getting ready to cast spells, or having extreme human emotion. I can control fire and wind to a degree with the use of certain amulets. My body has in different locations runes carved into it, and they will also glow, depending on the situation, i.e. (danger, emotion, spell-casting). I wear gloves to cover the runes on my hands because they are used for my spell-casting, and a side-effect of this is if I touch someone carelessly with an ungloved hand, I put them into a 4 hour sleep. (which DOES come in handy in certain situations ) I do NOT GOD MODE, and can be wounded, to the point of seriousness and death. I have some limited healing powers with the help of my herbs and amulets, but must rest AT LEAST for 4 hours after doing healing. When in a shapeshift, I will automatically start to heal, but only minor wounds. I have been traveling a long time, trying to find the ehmm.....SORCERER that gave me this cursed sword, so I can RUN him thru with it for the trouble it has caused, but can't ever seem to be in the same place as he is. NOTE: (unbeknownst to my character, this wizard died a LONG time ago, and the sword is what is giving her memories of where he was, so she feels those memories, mistaking them for actual events.) I have moved to this town a few days ago, hired a woodsman to make my cabin ~which is situated south of the town on the magical ley lines~ and will soon be open for business selling herbs wholesale, midwifing, locating lost objects and people, and am currently looking for an apprentice. ~lioness?? ~

SO, she has moved here, ~for now~ to try to gather information, and look for clues............

MORE LATER,
Grey

I ain't got that much money but maybe I can help you out later on. You know, trade work fer work if you catch my meaning. How's about it?

Hearing the stranger’s greeting, he set his tools on the workbench and walked over to greet him, extending his hand. “You’re the fellow with that new house up on the hill, right? Saw it going up as I was fixing the roof over the shop here.”

“A hearth and a chimney, you say? Shouldn’t be any problem – we’ll just need to make sure enough stone’s available ... But on that hill you’re on there should be plenty. Just might require some digging though. I can be around your way tomorrow morning to have a look ...”

“.... and as for the money .... well, let’s just have a look at the job and then we’ll talk about that. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Ulrik strided out of the bar's doors, then reached up and plucked off the crappy looking sign he had put up as a temporary measure, then wondered to himself 'I wonder if that bard is anything iof an artist, I can do a bit, but I'm not the best, and it'll be done quicker with two people.'
He chucked the sign onto the blazing fire, and went upstairs to find whether she was awake yet or not, and if she was he could ask her about the sign.

Epona woke, and lay in the narrow yet comfortable bed looking up at the sky through the small window. Sighing to herself contentedly, she was pondering a new stew for the bar menu, when whe was suddenly distracted by a nearby clattering noise. It was followed by the voice of Ulrik, muttering something about needing a new sign.

Epona instantly saw a way to gain the approval of Ulrik, feeling that she had moved into his inn, but as yet had done nothing in return. She knew her skills with a brush did not fully match up to her musical abilities, but nonetheless felt that she could do a fair job of replacing the shabby temporary sign she had seen the night before. Leaping from the bed and dressing hurridly, she bolted into the corridor, startling the poor inkeeper.

"Did I hear correctly, that you would like me to help with making you a new sign? Is there a timber merchant in town? That piece of board looks rather badly weathered and a new one would be so much better. I'll head out and see what I can find!"

She then dashed for the door, eager to get started on the new project.
