The Ring of Talos, would that be the Holy Symbol of Talos? In case it is, Zhivago definitely shouldn't have it, as those symbols are only given when you reach level 25.

Looks good otherwise, though I wonder why his Save vs Death should be so low?

Goodness gracious me, I would never dream of giving him a Holy Symbol. It is a simply a Ring of Talos. Since Weimer made him a Cleric of Talos, it would make sense to give him the ring. However, it has no beneficial enchantments, it is merely symbolic and to let players know that hey, they just tangoed with a Cleric of Talos.

Of course, it begs the question on why an Underground Dwarf would worship a God of Storms... evil alignment aside.

He is a Cleric.
He is a Dwarf.
He has 16 CON.

Ergh, feeling a little bit feverish, I think I will skip any actual coding today and rest.

Here's a revised spell list for Zhivago.

1) Armor of Faith x3, Doom x2, Bless, Sanctuary

2) Chant x2, Hold Person x5, Silence 15' Radius

Man do the choices for level 2 suck... ...

3) Invisibility Purge x2, Miscast Magic x1, Unholy Blight x3, Remove Paralysis

4) Free Action, Poison x4

Death Ward meaningless. Negative Plane Protection? Yeah right... ...

5) Greater Command, True Seeing

6) Conjure Animal, Heal

And remove his own protections? Zhivago is going to be AI-controlled, not human-controlled. I wish to avoid the same scenerio of "Improved" Dragons where they dispelled their own Stoneskins... ...

ADD] I forgot to mention something. Last night I fiddled around with the 3 assassins that fight the Vampire. I need to know your opinions on the following,

1) Would you mind them having +2 enchanted weapons so that they can actually hit the Vampire?

2) Would it adversely affect you if they manage to win against the Vampire?

Bear in mind that all equipment will be, as always will be the case with me, droppable.

I take it he wont be casting any True Sights then?

Why no Aerial Servants by the way? Even one of them is certainly a greater and more interesting challenge than two Mountain Bears, like the Heal though.

Hmmmm... I was trying to balance between defensive and offensive spells. However, I think you have a point about True Sight (although it might be a bit overkill).

This is just a hypothesis, but I believe 2 Mountain Bears can kick the ar$e out of one Aerial Servant. Besides, Mountain Bears have no enchantment immunities, so everybody has a fair chance of whacking them.

Just did the maths, and due to the bears combined total of 6 ApR vs the servants 1 ApR, you're probably correct. I still think the servant would make a more interesting and unpredictable foe though

The thought of Aerial Servants doing 1-hit KO kapows does not really appeal to me. Well okay, it actually does, to the sadistic part of me at least; buuuut... for the sake of the casual players, I am trying to create a fun challenge, which hopefully is simulating as well.

To phrase it better, a fight that makes you think.

As opposed to one where you run around screaming from fear/frustration/anger.

Imoen could theoretically tank them with Stoneskins/Mirror Image, as Aerial Servants only have 1 ApR, but leaving Imoen open to attacks because she's on the frontlines isn't exactly the place where a T/M with puny hitpoints should be.

Conjure Animals is very interesting. Will you keep the other members of the group the same? Will you set them to chase after party members?

That's why he targets them for the back, where Imoen and the weak Mages are, so that the Wizard Slayer can kill 'em.
