How did *YOU* defeat the improved Torgal ?

Well this is how I defeated him:

I killed all the monsters in the cellar before facing him. Then I had my party wait outside the great hall and sent one in to lure one and one troll out then kill them seperately. That plan failed miserabley and I ended up fighting them all at once outside the great hall. My fighters were already medium wounded and my mages were critical wounded. So it was a tough fight indeed. I had me as an archer, minsc, Valygar, Jaheira, Aerie and Yoshi in my party. I had the daystar sword on minsc, and minsc also had this ring which lets him cast mirror image. So having him mirrorimaged I cast Sunray on the trolls, which made them all badly wounded. My Archer used his called shots, and I bombarded them with chromatic orbs and magic missiles. I also had to heal Minsc with the Heal spell and in the end they all fell dead. =)

You've gotta have somebody by that door to close it once you lure him out, but it sounds like you did just fine. Was wondering though, if that was the improved Torgal since you didn't mention the yuan-ti or spirit trolls.
