Solo Cavalier On Insane and Tactics Mod Vs.Improved TorGal&CO.Need Help!!!!!

Well i am soloing with a Cavalier on Insane difficulty and Tactics Mod(Inspired by our Great Dundee Slaytern).
Well i very need some advices from you guys.I am level 10 and i have FoA+2(i think)...

I am trying to defeat them with So Called Frog Tactic(you wait behind the door and slam the door behind the enemy)but this doesn`t help too.

Wait till you're of a higher level, it is simply not possible for a pure level 10 fighter to take out Improved Tor'Gal. He's almost equal to Firkraag when it comes to melee fighting and defensive capabilities, and he's even more durable than him to boot.

if you were a coward and a cheater, you could use ctrl-y to kill('twas ctrl y, wasnt it). too bad youre not, RIGHT?

if you have any way to find/use a wand of cloudkill... that usually helps, just have him stand in the area of effect and he will usually get fried..other than that, any way you can find to slow him works wonders. *shrug* other than that, your probably gonna get eaten alive, remember your potions of storm giant strength to improve thaco and damage, oil of speed will help a lot here too

Since a Wand of Cloudkill is totally out of the question (as you are, after all, a Solo Cavalier), hie thee to the Umar Hills and get the Ilbratha+1 to greatly improve your melee odds against this monster. You might also consider doing the Unseeing Eye quest first, as the quest reward is Ardulia's Fall, a Mace that can be described as a poor substitue for the Flail of Ages. That's your only hope of Slowing TorGal, which is exactly what you need to do if you want to take his Regeneration out of the picture. Either that, or do the Guarded Compound first so you can Stun TorGal, or pit Weimer MOD against Weimer MOD by simply locking Improved TorGal in a room with Improved Kitthix.

I don't think neither Stun nor Slow works against Tor'Gal. Though I've never tried either method, he's listed as being immune to Charm, Hold, Sleep, Panic, and Stun, and he wears two undroppable Rings of Free Action.
Though I remember reading a battle report by Alson where he successfully slowed him after numerous castings of the spell. Since one saves vs the spell at -4, and it took several castings to slow him, I think the chances of slowing him with Ardulia's Flail, which allows a save at +3, are very slim.
Getting Improved Kitthix seems the most viable alternative, though I honestly think Tor'Gal will easily beat the crap out of both Kitthix and a level 10 Cavalier.

IMHO, trying to take him out now is sheer madness, and I definitely recommend you to put D'Arnais Keep on hold and do a few more quests so you can come back better equipped and with more levels to back you up.

you did see the IMPROVED part of kitthix, didnt you. from what i hear, that thing is a MONSTER. If only you had someway to cast web and greater malison, now that would HELP.
