LadyZ it is a deal. Here is my poem, I look forward to hear yours.

I sit,
Staring in out to sea,
The salted wind,
Blowing away the tears,
I hear the laughter,
The joyous tones,
And it brings pain to me,
I will not dance,
Nor sing or play,
Never shall I laugh,
And smile at something said to me,
My only joy,
The shinning light,
My grail, is gone,
Taken from me,
So I sit,
Beyond the signs,
Passed the fence,
As I have every night,
And will for a thousand more,
Since the blackest of days,
I sit and wait,
Wait for the world to know,
I am dead,
I have been since that day.

On a small world,
Afloat in a sea of stars,
A place filled,
By a few billion souls,
One of these souls,
Mirrors my own,
To think, one soul,
In this multitude,
Is the one I seek?
The shear chance,
To meet my mate,
Is 1:3.16 billion?
And growing every day,
If this one finds someone,
And give up searching for me.
So don’t tell me I’ll find the one,
And there is plenty of fish in the sea,
For our time is short,
This world to large,
For a lonely guy, like me.

Sheesh Gabriel. Like I said, running out of good ones here. Damn! Don't get me wrong, I have quite a few written down but some aren't written as well as I would like. Anyway, a short one:

PAINFUL REMINDER

You are a painful reminder of what could Be
If fate intervened and handed me the Key
To the door of my ultimate Destiny

But common sense rules my Existence
Mental dependence is of utmost Importance
Depression screams for Attention
Happiness is merely an Assumption

Which side will win the emotional War
Will I sink or will I Soar?

The boat has many Holes
The oar has many Goals
And the struggle Continues...

Not trying or intending to offend anyone, but for me personally, I'd say that Grebki is the really talented one here, for writing those ironic, acid little poems that relativise things rather than enlarge them to giant size. My compliments!
