The Xvart is a civilized creature not because it can speek common. Many who do speek common are indeed not civilized. But because they live in small comunities supporting themselves. While their believes may differ from our own, to a more totemic hierchy of gods, it is still a established religion.
Many members have complained about the Xvart's barbaric instincts and how they are attacking the cows. Perhaps we should not blame the Xvart, but instead blame ourselves. We are responsible for the mass farming of cows and the continued expansion of small comunities up and down the sword coast. If we had stayed to a more confined area and left the natural area for the Xvarts to hunt perhaps this problem would never have arrisen.
Secondly, I propose that the barbaric nature of the Xvart is out fault. Just the other day I stumbled upon a Xvart emcampment and was attacked outright, this is due to the way in wich the emcampment had been treated in the past by the taller fellows.
Because we can not undue the past I propose a radical examination into the psychological state of the Xvart population and then integrate them in a appropriate manner into our sosiety. (NOTE: appropriate manner is of now undecided, must wait for test results from new test facility)

Disclamer: No Xvart were fried on my pass through the emcampment I merely had a red wizard companian of mine cast disabelling spells while I sang a lovely lulleby to them.

To those that oppose integration. We should not judge these Xvart's unworthy of becoming one with us in society because of the acts they have done to us in the past. Have you thought why they commit the crimes? Do you think that it was US that struck first? We humans are very biased. We are usually against those that look diffrent, and live diffrently. And we sometimes think we are better than the "lesser races". This fault in our kind is usually a barrier of great benifits. Everyone please listen to my words! This would be a first step towards peace with other races in the Sword Coast.

As others and myself have said before. The benfits would increase economy with more workers and such. Those that live near an orc's, gnolls, goblins or Xvart's haven can finnaly have a comfortable rest. It would save lives, if we follow through this plan. Many lives would be saved. A messanger that is delivering an important message to one of the Dukes might accidently stumble into Hobgoblin camp. Right now the messenger would most likely would be killed. How would his family would feel? If things were changed the hobgoblins would let the messengar on his way. Might even show him a shortcut to his destination.

But things are still as they are.
The adventurers that defeated Sarevok has once saw a halfling messanger's dead body in the middle of the road. Nearby the corpse was two Orgrillins.

That is all I have to say.....for now.

[/QUOTE]What? Kill to survive? Orcs are most commonly found trying to waylay travelers, wayfarers and such. How can you call that good? That's not 'killing to survive', that's laziness coupled with greed. They could easily survive by less murderous means, and yet they find it necessary to attempt to kill the innocent passer-by. Surviving indeed.

and we could never reason with them, they are to dumb to listen, all they care about is themselves and they dont think twice about killing others. I mean Ok humans kill Orcs etc. But not just out of pure spite, they do it if they have to, Im sure a group of travellers would much rather pass a group of orcs than fight them, I cant say the same about the Orcs though.

I strongly disagree. Some travellers kill orcs out of spite. For example a paladin. Who feels it's her duty to cleanse all evil she meets or hears of. Also a fellow who lost his parents to orcs. And desires revenge but becoming a orc hunter.

Well, we're all making generalizations, and we need to decide whether or not any of these assumptions have any truth in them. We're assuming:

1. That all orcs are mindless bloodthirsty hooligans, with no capacity for reason, nor any desire to mediate their differences.

2. That humans either are or are not roughly similar (we've heard arguments for both sides) in their demeanor and treatment of orcs.

But, to come back to the issue at hand, this is really about the existence of xvarts in society, and the role they should play. We can commission another executive investigation into orcish society later (*sigh*) but for now, we should really decide a process of investigation for and or against the integration of xvarts into 'civilized society'.
