True but you asked:"where is the cave" or something similar. So you aksed dor spoilers. But it is true, most of the people want to be spoiled now and then and i personally think there is nothing wrong with it. As long as you don`t spoil too much about the main plot or side quest.

My neural center is being burned from the onslaught of spoilers!! I must agree with Six on the issue; there are far too many spoilers in this forum, anasked. I understand that some people want to be spoiled, but it should be a last resort, not a side-thought before continuing the game. After all, you will come along these things in time, and then your stance may be very similar to that of Sixes'. After all, so many people here have already completed the game, that it seems like no one is playing for the first time without learning critical info before they need it. after all, most have much trouble passing up spoilers. i kow i do! it just makes it more desirable info. As for the "plays BG II day and night" comment... What's wrong with that?!

Doesn't he want his BG experience to be more intellectually stimulating than, say, flushing a toilet?
obviously i would ask such a question beacuse i havent yet encountered such a place,or name or part or cave inspite of being in the area and taken on these quests.
SOS,you are obviously very touchy and have gotten yourself all hot and bothered over my question. No i dont want to be spoiled ,no i dont want the answer .i was wondering if i was missing something and merely wished to DISCUSS THIS WITH FELLOW GAMERS- something that you are obviously unaquainted with.

sorry if i offended anyone with my inquiries.this is a forum after all and everyone cant always be knowledgable about everything.

Six Of Spades, not everyone is glued to their computer playing BGII day and night like you!
haha
SoS had a very good point, you know. the bg series is at its best when you figure out the puzzles and side plots by your self. you originally asked for an answer to a very well hidden(and a very vast) side plot, one which i discovered only a few games back. thats ok! but it just pains people like me and Six to see a simple question bulge into a huge "thing" of spoilers, when it wasnt really asked for. if you really do want to be spoiled from here to baator( ), then thats your buisness. we would just recommend that you do not do that, so that you can "maximize the gaming pleasure". anyways, have fun, and lets keep it friendly!

*starts singing*

WAR! (huh!) Good God, y'all!
What is it good for?
Absolutely nothin'!

I find myself agreeing with Six's point but not his delivery. I hate being spoiled on things. I use Ironworks to ask for opinions and give my opinions, to share tactics, strategies, and possible bugs. If I need to know something's location or a quick-fix solution, I use Dan Simpson's guide or I look in the Ironworks' archives. As much as I want everyone to follow my example, I'm not the Queen of Ironworks, as much as Six, Alson, Daan, Xen, etc. are the kings. (The private worship of Six, however, will continue unabated. )

All I can do is lead the horse to water and hope that he/she drinks. I think people around here are forcing the horse's head into the bucket, screaming "DRINK!" (I do it too--I'm not as blame-free as I want to be. )

(I have a few more beefs, but I shall keep my grumbling to myself.)

On this forum, there often tends to be a case of one-upmanship in order to increase the number or posts made, or to 'show off' your amazing knowledge of the game.

For instance, lets imagine I asked (recent example) for clues relating to where Baron Ployer is after he places the curse on Jahiera.

The first person may suggest talking to people in the Copper Coronet/Main Government office for more clues.

Out of the blue, some idiot (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) will come out with

He's in the . Be ready for a tough fight . I'd take a protection from undead scroll with you to handle the mega ultrongaxx .

You get the point.

It was not requested, and you have to bear in mind that if people specifically want spoilers they can ask for them. Otherwise you are robbing them of the enjoyment that we have all found in some measure with this game.

Anway, thats my two-penneth worth.

I demand to be included in this list!

Separating spoiler from the text with tildes prevents people to read it. It doesn't, and it is sometimes really hard to force yourself to skip it.
