I work in a Patent and Trademark law office, and have seen some really stupid inventions that inevitably failed. One was a body condom (big rubber underwear, for men). Hehe, Imagine the skin burns and hair removal LOL. We also had a client with the failed "Mississippi Turkey Caller" (I tried it, didn't sound like a turkey to me LOL). Got another client who had this orange juice and tomato juice drink, but in this complicated mix of powders and juices you had to mix yourself, lot of work for something that tastes like crap LOL. And last, but not least, my favorite. We unfortunately STILL have the damn thing in the bathroom at my office, its been there since I started work in 1989, guess the inventor decided to send our company a "sample" and some dumbass decided to actually install it in the office bathroom. It is a toilet paper holder, you know, the ones attached to the wall. It is made of all chrome. The actual stick thing that you put the TP through is actually a big chrome SPRING, with ends that have small chrome nubs to fit into the small chrome notches on the holder. It is a tricky thing getting things secure, as the chrome is a bit slippery, and the holder ends are NEVER really secure in that holder. So when it falls off (which it does a lot) it doesn't just fall to the ground, it springs away way out of reach. Stupid invention!!!!!! Grrrrr! Hehe, but once I DID have a bit of fun with it, with this attorney that used to work in my office that I hated LOL (he was a snooty little rich pampered boy who looked at everyone under his nose and liked to say subtle condescending things to us secretaries, big jerk trust me). He was, errr, very regular let's say. So I knew when he'd be headed to the bathroom, and I made it so just the smallest touch to the TP would send the thing a-flyin LOL. Worked like a charm too, I could hear the metal clang even from my desk LOL!
